Moto g5 plus vs Honor 7X
Hello, everyone, I am going to compare two popular smartphones in the low or medium budget segment that is Honor 7X and Moto G5 Plus.
Now that you have done that, let’s get started Honor 7x is the new entry by Honor in this budget and it is a tough competition to the smartphones like – Moto G5 Plus, MI A1, Nokia 6 and more So starting with the design and build quality, Honor has done a great job in the design as the Honor 7x has thin bezels and 18:9 aspect ratio which enhances the multimedia and gaming experience on the device Although, both the devices have a camera bump at the back, it is more significant in case of Moto G5 Plus and it is actually a design element of the Moto phones launched this year So, it depends on you whether you like it or not
Both the phones have a metal build, so no issues there and both have a micro-USB port and fast charging support too One main difference is the fingerprint sensor placement which is at the back in case of Honor 7x but at the front in case of Moto G5 Plus What’s your opinion about the fingerprint sensor placement, do you prefer it at the back or at the front, tell me in the comments down below Now, coming to the specifications, Honor 7x has 593-inch display while the Moto G5 Plus has a smaller 5
2-inch Full HD display and both have Gorilla glass protection Honor 7X comes with a Kirin 659 Octa-core processor clocked at 23 GHz while the G5 Plus comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa-core processor clocked at 2 GHz Honor 7X has 4 GB RAM with two storage options while the Moto G5 Plus has two variants having 3 GB and 4 GB RAM with 16 and 32 GB of Internal storage respectively Honor 7X has a hybrid SIM card slot so you have to choose between a second sim card and a microSD card while the Moto G5 Plus has a dedicated slot for SD card which is always a good thing in my opinion
Honor 7X runs the custom version of Android called EMUI while the Moto G5 Plus runs the near stock version of Android with some extra features from Moto Now coming to the cameras, Honor 7X comes with a dual camera setup of 16 MP plus 2 MP in which the 2 MP camera is used for depth sensing and provides features like – wide angle and portrait shots You also get a moving picture mode which in general captures a short video just like the iPhone’s live images Moto G5 Plus has a 12 MP camera sensor at the back which does not provide these gimmicky features but is capable of taking some great photos Also, with the Moto G5 Plus, you can shoot videos in the 4K resolution which is not possible with the Honor 7X
There is an 8 MP front camera provided with the Honor 7X while the Moto G5 Plus has a 5 MP front camera and both have a beauty mode available for better selfies Moto G5 Plus comes with a 3000 mAh battery while the Honor 7X has a slightly better 3340 mAh battery So, this was all for the specs and in the final part of the video, I will tell you which device you should choose and why Now, coming to the additional features, Honor 7x provides you features like – One-key split screen mode for the seamless multi-tasking, Portrait selfies, gesture control to take selfies and also a unique feature called wifi bridge which lets you use your smartphone as a WiFi Router Talking about the Moto G5 Plus, it has an app called Moto Experiences which provides different Fingerprint Gestures and also Moto actions like – Twist to quickly open the camera and more
You can also enable the always-on display which shows you notifications and stuff related to that The 32 GB variant of the Honor 7X will cost you around 13000 Rs while the actual price of the Moto G5 plus is high comparatively but go for the 4 GB variant as it is nowadays available for maximum 6000 Rs discount on Flipkart You can grab it from the links provided in the description below Now, coming to the conclusion, these points will help you to decide which smartphone you should buy So, if you prefer the fingerprint sensor at the back, want to have a device with minimum bezels, a bigger display, want a dual camera setup which can be used for portrait shots, a good front camera, and good performance and you do not have any problem with Honor’s custom UI then you should go for the Honor 7X
But if you prefer the fingerprint sensor at the front, want a near stock version of Android, small display, a great primary camera for photos and videos and a decent front camera with those cool moto actions and fingerprint gestures and good performance then Moto G5 Plus is the one you should buy So, these were my opinions and which one you will choose from these two.
